I don't think they're lying. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm a lesbian, and I won't tell an ugly chick she is beautiful. I will tell beautiful women they are beautiful only if it's inside and out typically. I will tell cute girls they are beautiful if they are on the inside as well. For the ugly, all the internal beauty in the world could only get me to say they're sweet but never beautiful.
