What is loreto college like socially?

At first i really wanted to go to loreto because of the reputation and the grades people are getting but then my parents keep putting me off by saying that there are lots of fights there and there are people who really misbehave and that i should go to urmston grammar but i want to know what loreto is really like from a person with experience not what the website wants to make it out to be.
