How do you update the retail game of "Fate: The Cursed King", so it's not buggy?

I'm planning to buy "Fate: The Cursed King", for I am a Fate fan, but the reviews says that the game is full of bugs. I went to the forums and it says that they experienced bugs and also fixing them by getting an update from the staff of the game. I am wondering how they got the update. So I am asking you people, how can I can get an update for it. I also want to say that I want an update for the retail game. Not a downloaded version from "WildTangent". So hopefully I get some detailed answers because I am pretty "slow", if you know what I mean.
